Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our returns policy lasts 14 days from the date of delivery or collection. If more than 14 days have passed, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The engine must be unused, unopened, and in the exact condition it was supplied.
  • It must be returned in its original packaging and must not have been dismantled, tampered with, or internally inspected in any way.
  • You must provide proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).

Please do not return your engine to the manufacturer. All returns must be arranged directly through Just Swap My Engine.

Refunds

We cannot accept returns if:

  • The return was initiated more than 14 days after delivery or collection.
  • The engine has been fitted, opened, disassembled, or altered in any way.
  • You do not have a suitable exchange engine to return.

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email or phone of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • A full or partial refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • If your original engine was unavailable at the time of return, a similar unit may be returned to you, subject to availability.

Partial Refunds May Apply If:

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Exchanges

We only replace engines if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you believe your engine qualifies, email us at info@justswapmyengine.com and include:

  • Description of the issue
  • Your order reference
  • Engine type

Shipping returns

To return your product, contact us first at info@justswapmyengine.com or 07990 159 510. You will be provided with the return address and instructions.

We recommend using a tracked and insured courier as we cannot guarantee receipt of your return otherwise.

You are responsible for arranging and paying return shipping.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card provider — it may take some time for processing.
  3. If you’ve done all this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@justswapmyengine.com
